The Royal Wedding- A Tour of Britain and Places Connected to the Happy Couple

The celebrations are very upbeat for the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton on April 29th 2011. The wedding route through London is well known and where crowds will wait for a glimpse of the happy couple and guests but there are many other places in Britain that are asociated with Prince William and Kate Middleton and this article highlights a few that visitors to the United Kingdom might want to consider as part of a tour.
St Andrews, Scotland
William and Kate met at the famous St Andrews University in Scotland where they studied History of Art. The university is renowned for excellence and was credited with allowing Prince William to study as a normal student during his time there.
Bucklebury and West Berkshire
Kate Middleton was born in Reading and was brought up in the beautiful West Berkshire village of Bucklebury where her family still run their party planning business. A local tour company takes visitors on a trip to places associated with Kate including the school she was educated at and even the village pub (The Old Boot Inn) where the couple have been known to drop in for a drink. Kate was educated at Marlborough College in Wiltshire which is a beautiful historic town and well worth a visit. Mortons Travel is the local coach company who arrange tours of the places associated with Kate's life.
Anglesey
William and Kate plan to spend the early part of their married life on the beautiful island of Anglesey where William is stationed as an RAF helicopter pilot. Anglesey is a mystical and peaceful place where people can really appreciate the natural beauty of the island. There is the splendour of Beaumaris Castle, unspoilt coastline and lots of wonderful walks in the area.
Dorset, England
Prince William was stationed at Bovington Camp in Dorset where he learned to command a tank in the army. He has also been known to visit the nearby villages and towns including Weymouth. He was educated at Eton College in Windsor and later at Sandhurst Military Academy.
